Sixth-grader swishes fantastic halfcourt buzzer-beater in children's charity game

A word to the wise before clicking on this one: Even Michael Mazur, who posted this video on YouTube, admitted, "You might want to turn down your sound a bit. My vocal chords went to 11."

It's hard not to go all Spinal Tap on this highlight when you hear the story behind it.

Matt Record connected on this halfcourt halftime buzzer-beater during the sixth-grade championship game at the annual Hoops for Hope Charity Basketball Tournament, which has reportedly raised more than $22,000 since 2006 for Manchester, N.Y., area children's charities, including Golisano Children's Hospital and Wilmot Cancer Pediatric Center (h/t Bob's Blitz). Record's Red Jackets won the title, 48-32.

Sounds like everyone got their money's worth on this one. Bravo all around (except for the screaming).
