Perhaps Cinmeon Bowers should've picked Colorado or Washington over Florida State.

The four-star Seminoles basketball recruit has been suspended indefinitely after his arrest for allegedly eating marijuana in hopes of concealing it during a traffic stop near his junior college in Marianna, Fla., according to a Jackson County Floridian report.

A Marianna police report said officers stopped Bowers and Chipola College teammates Torian Graham and Jamaar McKay-Taylor for speeding, smelled marijuana emanating from their 2010 black KIA passenger car and determined the trio had eaten the evidence.

All three student-athletes have been suspended pending the outcome of their tampering with evidence charges and a school investigation, the Jackson County Floridian reported. Likewise, FSU coach Leonard Hamilton told ESPN, "I will wait until I get all the complete information" before deciding whether to honor Bowers' verbal commitment.

Bowers, 20, had overcome long odds to become a part of Hamilton's 2014 recruiting class. He emerged as one of the nation's top junior college recruits upon reportedly academically failing to qualify for the NCAA after attending four high schools in four years. Once the victim of a shooting by a would-be robber during his junior year of high school, he was averaging 14.9 points and 8.8 rebounds in his second season at Chipola prior to his arrest.

Graham was once committed to N.C. State and has received plenty of Division I interest.
