Awesome Little League baserunner successfully leaps over catcher's tag

It wasn't exactly Brian Kownacki's 2010 leap over a catcher, but this was still a heck of a slide by JP.

We have little to go on besides John Paul DeLuca's YouTube video title: "Jonah drops down a bunt, JP avoids the tag." While that gets the point across, we're left wondering who Jumping JP really is. A tweet from DeLuca offers little else, except JP plays for the Mets of Rancho Buena Vista (Calif.) Little League.

Perhaps this play is better left to the imagination — a wonderful illustration of baseball fundamentals, including a perfectly placed bunt by Jonah, a nice play by the catcher, a timely throw home, JP's leap and Jonah's heads-up scamper to second. Really, the only error made here is the catcher's inability to make the tag, but based on his stunned reaction, even he had to credit JP for his display of athleticism.
