It may not be the most rigorous way to start the season, but the SBS Championship at Kapalua certainly got everybody going with a good dose of self-esteem. The scores wouldn't have been much lower if the holes were the size of hula hoops, and all 28 guys came away with a pleasant week in Hawaii. But by far the most pleasantest time was had by Geoff Ogilvy, who held off a charging Rory Sabbatini to take the championship for the second year in a row.
With the win, Ogilvy now sits atop the FedEx Cup standings and is the runaway leader for Player of the Year honors. This may be the most perfect season ever recorded -- a perfect winning percentage! Nobody's ever done that! He's an immortal ... what? There's more golf to be played? Oh, cool.
