Scott Brown bounces drive off bridge to just a couple of feet for unlikely eagle

Devil Ball Golf

On Thursday at the Barclays, Scott Brown was having a pretty boring round of golf at Liberty National. All pars to start his round, Brown arrived at the par-4 16th with hopes of hitting a good drive on the 325-yard hole and giving himself a chance at a birdie or even eagle if he was lucky enough to get it up on the green.

Brown did just that, but not the way you'd expect. His drive sailed right, and looked like it was headed for a watery grave, but found the only thing that could save it at that point; the cart path.

His ball took a huge hop, landed softly on the front of the green and rolled to just a couple of feet of the hole. The 2013 Puerto Rico Open winner took advantage of the bounce, rolling the putt in for eagle and a round of 1-under 70.

This break was incredible, but was it as lucky as Matt Jones at the PGA Championship or Luke Donald at the British Open? You decide.
