Sure, it wasn't the drama of a Masters, but we had some fine shots this past weekend nonetheless at the Verizon Heritage, the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am and the Fresh Express Classic. Behold, and dream of a day when you can do the same.
For starters, we begin with Brian Davis's clutch birdie on 18 Sunday at the Verizon to force a playoff with Jim Furyk. Of course, we know how that turned out, but for awhile, at least, it looked like this was going to be a great story.

They tell me Trevor Immelman once won the Masters. I don't believe it, but with shots like this, an eagle at the 15th in the third round of the Verizon, I believe it's possible:
Paul Azinger is working to get his game back on track, and with shots like this chip-in on the 18th in the third round of the Outback, he's on his way:
And then there was Jerry Rice. Sure, he stunk up the Fresh Express, but hey, he did have one very fine par putt on Friday at the 12th:
