Darts in the Dark: Houston pick, Keegan Bradley

This year I was coerced by a hockey writing friend of mine to do a weekly one-and-done golf pool that allows you to pick one golfer, never to use them again in 2013. Since I'm doing it for fun (and DEFINITELY not for money, no way, no how), I figured I'd post my weekly picks here, with who I've already used under it and my record for the year, and against the others in the pool. We're calling this Darts in the Dark.

I need to explain to you how bad a year I'm having at these picks. I still have yet to pick a winner, anytime I've gone with someone with a big name that normally plays the course that week very well they've basically lost the ability to swing the golf club (see Johnson, Dustin at Pebble Beach) and the week I actually pick someone that is doing half decent they decide to climb a tree and then withdraw right after.

Yes, at Bay Hill I had Sergio Garcia, who posted a WD with meant I got ZERO POINTS for his performance despite the fact that he was 2-under heading into the final round.

(A reminder; I really hope you don't bet money on golf.)

So, this week I'm going with what I'd like to call a sure thing. Keegan Bradley is one of the biggest names in the field, is coming off three straight top-seven finishes and finished T-4 a season ago at the Shell Houston Open.

Maybe Keegan wins, maybe he doesn't, but I've thrown any strategy out the window at this point and am simply picking big names in hopes to get back in this thing.
