Charley Hoffman turned his putter into two pieces on Thursday

This is a bit old now, so forgive us, but we couldn't let you go into the weekend without video evidence of Charley Hoffman and his putter woes. On Thursday at the Players Championship, Hoffman missed a short par putt on his last hole to break par.

It wasn't a bad round for Charley, but he needed 31 putts, and that obviously didn't sit well with him. So, he decided he'd had enough with his putter and broke it with his bare hands! Now, I've seen a lot of ways to break golf clubs, but this is the first time I've ever seen someone take it down like it was a pencil.

Lucky for Hoffman, he will be around for the weekend. That putter, unfortunately, will not.
