Predictatron is an excellent game. It's a nice complement to the traditional fantasy portfolio, and the prize is pretty sweet.
Also, the degree of difficulty is entirely up to the user. If you want to agonize over the Rays, fine. There's no clock.
Yahoo!'s national baseball writers essentially filled out their ballots last Thursday, and 'Duk offered his today. No need to bore you with the finer details of my full entry -- let's just say it took me an absurdly long time to arrive at a ridiculous number for Tampa (82) -- but this is what my playoffs look like:
ALDS -- Indians over Yankees, Red Sox over Mariners
NLDS -- Diamondbacks over Braves, Mets over Cubs
ALCS -- Red Sox over Indians
NLCS -- Mets over Diamondbacks
World Series -- Red Sox over Mets
Not much imagination there, I'll admit. Three repeat teams in the championship series, plus a repeat champion. The Tigers bullpen scared me just enough to leave them out. (Still, for fantasy purposes, this lineup is obscene). If "Uncommited" had been an option in the AL West, I'd have maybe picked them.
OK, enough of that. Back to imaginary sports...
