Slow clap for anyone who started Ryan Grant in Championship Week

Winning a fantasy title, under any circumstances, usually makes you feel like a mega-genius. It's pretty awesome.

But winning a fantasy championship with a guy you picked up just a few minutes before kick-off is ... um ... it's just ...

Well, there are no words. It's indescribably awesome. The best. Unrivaled.

On Sunday, a select few of you benefited from Ryan Grant's big fantasy line, and you probably added him as a same-day Hail Mary. (Yup, that Ryan Grant, the guy who hadn't really done much since '09). Grant was only started in one percent of Yahoo! fantasy leagues in Week 16, but he delivered 23.4 fantasy points in standard scoring formats.

We learned on Sunday morning that Alex Green (concussion) wouldn't play for the Packers in Week 16, which cleared a path to relevance for Grant and DuJuan Harris. Both backs found the end zone against Tennessee, but the veteran had the much bigger statistical day. He crossed the goal line twice, finishing with 114 total yards on 21 touches.

Green Bay absolutely destroyed the Titans on Sunday, 55-7, so there were plenty of stats to go around. Seven different Packers fantasy assets reached double-digit points in Week 16: Aaron Rodgers (32.78), Grant (23.40), James Jones (16.0), Green Bay DEF (15.00), Mason Crosby (14.00), Randall Cobb (12.20), Greg Jennings (10.50).

If you fielded a Pack-heavy lineup this week, it probably went well. If you snagged Grant as a flex play ... well, that's badass. You get to do some bonus bragging.
