Since being selected with the third overall pick in the 1994 draft, forward Grant Hill has played for the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns. After four seasons in Arizona, Hill was a free agent last offseason and he seriously considered joining the Chicago Bulls, according to the Arizona Republic.

"Hill … had plenty of suitors, but none pressed his decision like the Bulls, who made a competitive offer to Hill, fully knowing that he was coming off knee surgery in September at age 39," according to the paper.

Could Hill be regretting the one-year deal he signed with the Suns for $6.5 million. The Bulls have the best record in the NBA while the Suns have lost five in a row and are 4-9 on the season.

"It was an interesting conversation," Hill said of Chicago's pursuit of him, the Republic reports. "It was very tempting. … It's a great sports town. They definitely were in the picture, and it took serious consideration on my part."
