Patrick Kane stares down Predators fan after scoring goal originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

Patrick Kane found the back of the net for the third consecutive game on Saturday, but it was what happened after that had everybody talking.

After evening up the score at 1-1 in the first period, Kane let out a vintage mini fist-pump celebration then skated to the boards and stared down a Nashville Predators fan in the front row. The fan looked at a smiling Kane and shook his head in disappointment.

I'm not sure if there's a backstory to this, but it was a hilarious moment. Heck, I wouldn't rule out Kane just wanting to have a little fun and bantering with the fan for no reason at all other than his own amusement.

"I just thought it was a Nashville fan, so I was just caught in the moment," a laughing Kane told reporters after the game. "No real reason behind it."

When pressed on whether the fan said anything to him beforehand, Kane played a little coy.

"Nah," Kane said. "We'll just keep it at that."

It wasn't the only viral moment of the week for Kane, who broke San Jose Sharks defenseman Jaycob Megna's ankles with a spin-o-rama move on Thursday. Kane's reaction when looking at the replay on the bench was priceless:
