Although it's becoming less of a common practice, sometimes what happens in Comic-Con stays in Comic-Con.

One thing that Marvel has said it won't be releasing from the San-Diego event – and we really hope it changes its mind on this – is new footage from Black Panther.

Luckily, plenty of people were there and have described the scenes in detail so we can bring you what went down.

The footage, as reported by Polygon, centres around Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis returning from Avengers: Age of Ultron) about to make a dodgy deal with Martin Freeman's government type, Everett K Ross (who first appeared in Captain America: Civil War).

On their way to intercept the deal are T'Challa and his partners Okoye and Nakia, played by Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong'o, respectively. As you'd expect, however, the three get into a fight on their way.

After a fight sequence unlike any seen in the MCU beforehand, T'Challa makes his way to Klaue, who unveils how his new prosthetic arm can morph into a weapon.

He's not the only one with some cool new tech, though. A fresh trailer followed this scene and showed T'Challa's new, golden-lined Black Panther suit forming around his body in a blue light (the way it's being described reminds us of the Power Rangers movie and how their suits formed around them).

Elsewhere at Comic-Con, Marvel screened some more new footage from Avengers: Infinity War, but, guess what, you can't see it online. People who pay through the nose have to get something exclusive out of it.

They did throw a bone to us folk unlucky enough not to attend, with the new Thor: Ragnarok trailer, which is all about Cate Blanchett.

Black Panther will be released on February 9, 2018 in the UK and February 16, 2018 in the US. Watch a trailer below:
