NFL Bills vs. Buccaneers: Team connections
The Buffalo Bills (4-3) are hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-3) in Week 8.
While a brand new NFL weekend, both teams are familiar with one another. Some players and coaches more than others.
Here’s a quick list of connections the two teams have with one another ahead of Sunday’s matchup:
Bills CB Herb Miller
The lone Bills connection to the Buccaneers comes via Miller. He was signed to the practice squad after Tre’Davious White (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve. He was on the Bucs in 2020 when they won the Super Bowl.
Buccaneers K Chase McLaughin
McLaughlin has bounced around the NFL like many kickers do. That all began with the Bills in 2019 during training camp… and then later that season Buffalo put in a waiver claim for him but he didn’t end up back with the team.
Buccaneers DL CJ Brewer
Brewer was on the Bills’ practice squad last season and made two tackles in two games in 2022. He currently resides on Tampa’s practice squad.
