Bills’ Sean McDermott on Josh Allen fixing turnovers: ‘At the end of the day, he’s got to do it’
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott can only do so much. It’s time for Josh Allen to take action.
The Bills quarterback knows his team started 0-1 in big part due to his issue turning the ball over against the New York Jets. Allen had four total in the 22-16 overtime loss.
“Got to play smarter football,” Allen said via video conference. “Just understanding the game, understanding situations and making that a point of emphasis on game day. I let it get away from me this last game.”
The coach would agree. Allen has to play smarter and McDermott said actions have to start speaking louder than words.
“At the end of the day, he’s got to do it because I’m not out there,” McDermott said.
