Bills’ Micah Hyde: ‘I really missed being out there with my guys’
Bills safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer are back.
They’re happy to be.
Poyer, a free agent after 2022, re-signed with the team after hitting the open market. Then in Hyde’s case, he’s back after injury ended his season last year very early.
In the case of Hyde, there were lessons learned.
“That’s what last year really taught me, I really miss being out there with my guys,” Hyde said.
However, it remains to be seen if Hyde’s actual return happens in Week 1 against the Jets. Hyde has been limited in practice this week due to a back injury.
Bills coach Sean McDermott has used his usual “day at a time,” update when explaining Hyde’s injury. Because of that, it feels as if the safety is a game-time decision for now. Bills Wire will continue to provide all injury report updates leading up to game day.
