Bills’ Jordan Poyer updates injury, post-Packers win

The injury woes continued for Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer in Week 8.

During his team’s 27-17 win over the Green Bay Packers, Poyer was ruled out and did not return to the game. He sustained an elbow injury.

At some point in the second half, Poyer said he went to make a tackle along the sideline and “got caught in a weird spot.”

Poyer explained that he is set to have a MRI on his elbow come Monday. Until then, he acknowledged he has had a frustrating year when it comes to injuries, but he’s staying positive.

So far in 2022, Poyer has missed time on the field more than once. Most recently it was because of a ribs injury.

While the MRI will be the tell all answer we’re looking for, just the fact that Poyer is speaking to the media is a good sign. Players don’t have to do so when injured, but Poyer felt like he was up for it.
