Bills finish 2023 NFL draft by selecting CB Alex Austin in Round 7

The Buffalo Bills’ adventure at the 2023 NFL draft has come to an end with cornerback Alex Austin.

In the seventh round of the event, the Bills selected the Oregon State cornerback.

It’s the sixth and final pick by the team and the selection acquired by Buffalo via trade with the Los Angeles Rams.

A former track sprinter, the speedy Austin is a 6-foot-1 defensive back with size.

According to The Draft Network, the Bills got value in Austin as the outlet predicted Austin would be a third-round selection at the draft and projected him as an eventual starting defensive back in the NFL.

Over the past two seasons, Austin recorded 21 pass breakups and four interceptions.
