Bills’ Dawson Knox on injury: ‘It was really bothering me’

The Buffalo Bills haven’t provided a full update yet on the status of tight end Dawson Knox who recently went under the knife.

Knox, 26, had surgery on a wrist injury he was playing through. Instead, he opted for surgery and following that procedure, the Bills (5-3) placed him on injured reserve.

Having the injury designation means Knox will sit out at least four games. Following Buffalo’s 24-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Knox has three more games to go.

In the meantime, Knox provide a slight update on his health. Knox noted how he thought he could handle the pain and play through the injury–but then it just got worse against the New England Patriots in Week 7.

“Got to the Patriots game it was just really bothering me,” Knox said. “I just knew it was the best decision for me and the team to get it fixed.”
