Bills bench Tyrod Taylor, will start Nathan Peterman at QB
Coming off a 47-10 woodshedding at the hands of the New Orleans Saints and a 34-21 loss to the woeful New York Jets, the Buffalo Bills are making a drastic change.
Starter Tyrod Taylor is headed for the bench, and rookie backup Nathan Peterman, who made his NFL debut last Sunday, will get the start against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Taylor, in his third year as Buffalo’s starter, has thrown for 1,684 yards and 10 touchdowns against three interceptions. Sunday against the Saints, Taylor was ineffective, going 9-of-18 for 56 yards and no touchdowns.
Peterman came in late in Sunday’s game against New Orleans, throwing for 79 garbage-time yards and a touchdown, completing seven of 10 attempts.
