Bills’ 2022 strength of schedule based on projected wins is 12th hardest

The NFL changes from year-to-year and there are still plenty of new updates to come for teams with the 2022 NFL draft just around the corner.

However, as things look according to oddsmakers, the Buffalo Bills have the 12th hardest upcoming schedule in the NFL.

Sharp Football determined who had the toughest 2022 slate in the league next season by looking at the over/under of win totals for every team’s opponents in the NFL. After stacking them up side-by-side, Buffalo has the 12th most difficult.

Interestingly, per team records from 2021, the Bills are tied with Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers for the 12th most difficult upcoming slate in that ranking as well.

However, in the win total strength of schedule, the Steelers land at the sixth-hardest spot while the Panthers have the 17th toughest.

In terms of the AFC East, the Bills actually do not hold the toughest upcoming schedule, either.

Nor do they have the second..

The toughest belongs to the New York Jets, who have the second-hardest slate, right behind the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 1.

The New England Patriots slid in right ahead of Buffalo with the 10th most-difficult schedule.

The Miami Dolphins round it out with the 11th easiest.

The Bills only know who their upcoming opponents will be in 2022. Times and dates will be released next month.

For those wondering, here’s who Buffalo will face:
