Big Ten establishes student award in honor of Lisa Byington
Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren spoke with Northwestern alum Lisa Byington - now the play-by-play voice for the Milwaukee Bucks - about the new award in her name that will be given to the conference's most outstanding female student broadcaster.

- We've decided to start the Lisa Byington Award, named after you. And we're going to give it to the outstanding female student broadcaster on BTN Student U.
LISA BYINGTON: That's amazing. You can tell I'm emotional. And hearing that, that's absolutely amazing. And, you know, I would love to meet each recipient every year and spend some time with them. And it starts from small beginnings, right. And it starts with people believing in them and giving them opportunities. And it's amazing. I'm a broadcaster. And I make my living on saying words. And I'm a little speechless right now. So thank you. I really, really appreciate it.
