Big Ten championship game tickets: How to sit with Michigan football fans in Indianapolis

For the second year in a row, Michigan football will play for the Big Ten championship in Indianapolis.

The No. 3 Wolverines, fresh off a 45-23 win at No. 2 Ohio State, now get ready to take on Big Ten West Division champs Purdue on Saturday.

As of 3 p.m. Sunday, tickets for the game at Lucas Oil Stadium through Ticketmaster were sold out. But secondary market platforms will likely have tickets until kickoff.

For instance, a pair of tickets on StubHub in an end zone corner in the upper deck start at $125. On Vividseats, a pair of upper-deck seat in an end zone are priced at $133 and on SeatGeek, two seats in the nosebleeds along the sideline are $148.

The Big Ten backs a secondary ticket website called TicketSmarter, which you can buy seats for any conference event.

Information for Michigan's allotment of tickets is not yet available, though those seats typically are made available to season ticket holders first.

What time does the game start?

Since its inception in 2011, the Big Ten championship game has been on the first Saturday night in December in Indianapolis. This year is no different, as coverage of the Wolverines and Boilermakers will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday on Fox.

Detroit native Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt will call the game for Fox, which will take its "Big Noon Kickoff" pregame show to the Circle City, featuring former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer.
