Minty Bets takes a look at the MLB slate for May 11th and picks her best bets.
MINTY BETS: I'm Minty Bets and I'm here to give you my best bets in the MLB for Wednesday, May 11. Starting with the New York Mets at the Washington Nationals. On the mound for these two teams is a pair of righties. Tyler Miguel for the Mets and Aaron Sanchez for the Nationals. The Mets lead the league in hits, they're second in batting average, and fourth in OPS against right handed pitchers.
And it helps too that Aaron Sanchez hasn't been too hot this season, posting an ERA of 8.56. Don't count Washington out yet though, because they're only right behind New York in hitting against righties, third in batting average, and ninth in OPS. Although the under has hit in five of their last six meetings, I like the over in this one. Next up, the Tampa Bay Rays at the LA Angels. Both teams start some stud pitchers so I really don't want to bet against them.
I'm going to look to the LA Angels team total set at 3 and 1/2. The Angels are hot right now and one of the best teams against left handed pitchers, like Tampa's Shane McClanahan. They're fourth in batting average, fifth in OPS, and second overall in team runs, averaging a little over five runs per game. I'm liking their team total to go over 3 and 1/2.
To recap my picks, I've got the Mets and Nationals over 7 and 1/2 runs and the Angels team total over 3 and 1/2 runs. Bet $10 and win $200 in free bets by signing up at BetMGM.com/Yahoovip. New customers only, must be 21 and older, terms apply.
