Fury-Wilder III takes place on Saturday, October 9th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Joining me is Kevin Iole to give us his best bet for the WBC and Lineal Heavyweight Title bout between Tyson Fury, minus-275, versus Deontay Wilder, plus-225.
Kevin, give it to us. Who do you like in this?
KEVIN IOLE: Boy, you know, I really do like Tyson Fury in this one. I mean, we've had two fights, 19 completed rounds that we've seen them fight. I think Tyson Fury has won probably 13 or 14 of those rounds. He knocked him out in the last fight. The first fight, of course, was a controversial draw.
You know, I think Wilder is a wild card here because he has that enormous punching power and we know one thing. If he lands on the chin he's going to knock Tyson Fury out. But Tyson Fury is such a good boxer, he's such a smart strategist in the ring, and he has the confidence going into the fight in knowing that he has a knockout win over Wilder. And really, you know, he kind of feels like he has two wins.
So I like Fury in this fight. I will lay the 275. I think there's a better than average chance that he finishes him, but I'm going to stick with just Tyson Fury and I'll lay the 275 Tyson Fury to win this and remain the WBC champion.
