Betting: Which teams will advance to Stanley Cup Final?

- It's the NHL Conference Finals. I'm Mincy Bets here with a series betting preview for the East and the West. Currently, the Hurricanes sit as the favorite to win the Stanley Cup at plus-200, followed by the Knights at plus-225, the Stars at plus-325, and the Panthers at plus-375.
I'm going to start with the Eastern Conference first, as the Hurricanes face off with the Florida Panthers. The Panthers are plus-115 to win the series and the Hurricanes are minus-140. This Panthers team is essentially the same potent team they had last year.
They've got the edge when it comes to the power play. And they've got the more reliable goaltender in Sergei Bobrovsky. Meanwhile, the Hurricanes possess better coaching and depth in defense. They're the best team in the postseason when it comes to the penalty kill and they've got the advantage offensively. Ultimately, the Hurricanes offer more ways to win. So my bet will be on Carolina to win the East at minus-140.
The Vegas Golden Knights and the Dallas Stars meet in the Western Conference Finals. Vegas is minus-140 to win the series and Dallas is plus-115. Dallas is a consistent team with a solid special teams unit and the more trustworthy goaltender, while Vegas has the more powerful offense and faced better competition in the last round against Edmonton.
Ultimately, I believe Vegas should and will commit far fewer penalties and step it up defensively. So my money will be on Vegas to win the West at minus-140. To recap my picks, I'm going with the Hurricanes to win the East at minus-140 and the Knights to win the West at minus-140.
