The Indy 500 takes place this Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Here with me is NASCAR and racing expert Nick Bromberg to give us his best bets for the race. Nick, who are your favorites to win this?

NICK BROMBERG: Well, first, I think we have to start by talking about Scott Dixon at plus 350. His odds are half of the number two favorite, Colton Herta, this weekend, and for a good reason. Dixon is a six-time IndyCar champion and is starting on the pole. He has the fastest car, has the best team, but he's also only won one Indianapolis 500. That win came back in 2008. He's kind of like the Dale Earnhardt of NASCAR-- a driver with a ton of championships but only has one crown jewel win, as Earnhardt only won one Daytona 500. I think Dixon has a fantastic shot to get a second win this year, because he came very close last year before he was passed late in the race by Takuma Sato.

MINTY BETS: Nice. All righty. And then are there any drivers that we should steer clear of?

NICK BROMBERG: Yeah, you know, I really don't think people should be betting on Juan Pablo Montoya or Helio Castroneves. They're running part-time in IndyCar this year, running the 500. I would steer clear from them. They may look tantalizing as former IndyCar champions at plus 3,000, but I would look to somebody like Takuma Sato.

He's the defending IndyCar champion and I really like his value at plus 1800. And same with Rinus Veekay. He won at the Indy road course two weeks ago. And while he's been fast on the Indy oval, he's got a good car again this weekend. So I think Veekay has a great shot and is also a great sleeper pick with those odds.

MINTY BETS: Awesome. Thank you so much, Nick.

NICK BROMBERG: Thanks for having me.
