The Prop Queen, Ariel Epstein, gives her best plays for Sunday's slate of games in Week 17 of the NFL season.
ARIEL EPSTEIN: Happy New Year. I'm the Prop Queen, Ariel Epstein. And I am ready for week 17 of the NFL season.
Luckily, we start up the new year with an extra week of football. And this one, well, it's not the last one. I'm ready to break down some props for this one PM Eastern time slate.
Let's start with the Cincinnati Bengals game with the Kansas City Chiefs. This is probably one of the best props games considering it's a high total. And I believe this game's going over.
I'm taking the over on the Cincinnati Bengals running back, Joe Mixon, 15 and 1/2 receiving yards. Kansas City allows for the third most receiving yards to running backs per game this year. 13 running backs in 15 games have gone over this number against the Chiefs.
Mixon, he has faced only three different bottom 10 defenses when it comes to this category. Mixon has gone over this number of 15 and 1/2 receiving yards in two out of those three games against defenses bottom 10 in receiving yards allowed to running backs. I'm going with that over 15 and 1/2 receiving yards on Mixon.
My second prop. I'm taking the over 32 and 1/2 receiving yards for Rams tight end, Tyler Higbee. Every week, I look for a way to attack the Ravens secondary, and this week it's against the tight ends. The Ravens have allowed for the fifth most receiving yards per game to tight ends this year with 11 tight ends in 15 games going over this number.
Higbee has gone over 32 and 1/2 receiving yards in eight out of the 13 games he's played. And I want to show you this list of people. Because there's at least three different tight ends that stand out. Who are top notch tight ends. Who have had 100 yard receiving games against the Ravens.
Darren Waller, Travis Kelce, and even somebody like CJ Uzoman, who had 91 receiving yards for the Cincinnati Bengals against this Ravens team. I'm taking the over 32 and 1/2 receiving yards on Higbee. For my third prop, it's pretty ugly. However, desperate times call for desperate measures.
I'm taking the over 14 and 1/2 rushing yards on Jets quarterback, Zach Wilson. Wilson has gone over this number in two out of the last three games. It's kind of crazy. He's been running with the ball more.
That's just because, I guess he's just desperate to get something going on the offense. Well, Tampa Bay is a good match-up for him to do this. Because the Bucs have allowed for the third most rushing yards per game to quarterbacks this season.
Even somebody like a Jameis Winston, four carries for 40 yards. Well, because Wilson has gone over this number in these two out of three games, he's had at least four carries in all of them. I'm taking the over 14 and 1/2 rushing yards for Wilson.
Here's your Prop Queen recap. I'm taking the over 15 and 1/2 receiving yards for Joe Mixon, over 32 and 1/2 receiving yards on Tyler Higbee, and over 14 and 1/2 rushing yards for Zach Wilson.
That's it for me, your Prop Queen, Ariel Epstein. Happy New Year. And good luck not just in your bets.
Good luck in Season-Long Fantasy, also. I wish I was still playing. Have fun today
