MINTY BETS: Welcome to Winners and Losers, week four of the NFL. I'm Minty Bets joined by Jeff Stoneback, director of Trading for BetMGM.

Jeff, first of all, we have to talk about the Sunday night football game as it was the most anticipated game of the week, if not this season. Tom Brady and the Bucs face the Patriots. I know most of the bets were on the Bucs. But how did you guys do?

JEFF STONEBACK: Yeah, they actually opened as a five and 1/2 point favorite. We closed them at minus seven even money. Obviously, the most bet on game of the day. And as it turned out, it was the worst game of the day for the bettors when the Patriots covered.

So, a good game for the book, bad for the public. But that field goal had gone on, there would have been a lot more losers on that game. It would have been a much bigger winner for the books.

MINTY BETS: Oh, all right. So who are the winners of the public this week?

JEFF STONEBACK: The public didn't do very well today. They only really had two significant winners, and that was the Chiefs over the Eagles. They've been riding the Chiefs every week and Chiefs have not been covering, so it paid off for them today. That was a winner for them.

And the Cowboys beating the Panthers was also the other winner for the public.

MINTY BETS: And who were the winners of the house?

JEFF STONEBACK: The New York teams did well for the books. The Giants beating the Saints was a big winner. The Jets upsetting the Titans was a big winner for the book. The professionals did pretty well on that game though because it opened at plus seven went down to plus five and 1/2.

And there was another game where the professionals did well but the public got beat up. That was the Cardinals beating the Rams. That game actually opened six. The professionals bet it down to three and 1/2. But the public loved that minus three and 1/2, and it did not work out well for them.

MINTY BETS: All right, well hopefully you guys were on the right side, and if not, there's always next week. Thank you so much, Jeff.
