Betting: How does Embiid's injury impact MVP odds?
Jared Quay, Preston Johnson & Matt Moore of the Action Network react to the breaking news of Joel Embiid's injury and how it affects the current odds for NBA MVP.

MATT MOORE: So we're reacting a little bit to news that Joel Embiid suffered a knee injury. Obviously, hope that the big man's OK. Preston, you had a big future on Embiid for MVP, which [INAUDIBLE] before the break.
I think if we start to look at the odds for where they were before that injury, Embiid was the favorite at plus 200 and consensus. Jokic is plus 424. Luka Doncic still plus 1048. I can't really envision a situation where he gets it. Harden is plus 2,000 or better. So that's one to look at.
The other one I would genuinely start to look is Kawhi Leonard, plus 3,330. If the Clippers wind up with the one seed, I think Kawhi probably picks up a pretty big stack of votes. Don't have a good field.
JARED QUAY: Does he play enough games though? I feel like they do a good job of making sure that resting--
MATT MOORE: He has been this year.
PRESTON JOHNSON: He's played a pretty good pace so far, yeah.
MATT MOORE: Yeah, he has been this year, surprisingly.
PRESTON JOHNSON: I think outside of Jokic, that's probably the next best bet. Because we talked about it, I know, some of that second quarter. But I don't see Harden after what happened to start the season really making a run, even if the Nets just went crazy. There's a lot of help there with him, too, and Durant's supposed to be coming back soon.
And then the Giannis fatigue. So yeah, I mean, 33 to 1 on Kawhi, absolutely. If the Lakers keep playing .500 ball without Anthony Davis, or if LeBron just misses some time at some point, that's probably the play outside of Jokic, who I think has a lead on Kawhi right now for sure. 33 to 1's decent value.
