PAMELA MALDONADO: Welcome to the Prop Shop, Pam Maldonado bringing you a preseason profit out of the AFC East in the NFL. Zach Wilson, he's one of a handful of rookie quarterbacks will be seeing this season. However, he won't be making my short list for offensive rookie of the year. Betting option number one, Zach Wilson under 3,850. 5 passing, yards at -110 odds.

The New York Jets. They may have a new head coach and offensive coordinator, but this team still has one of the worst offensive lines in the league. The Jets were 24th in team quarterback sacks, with Sam Darnold sacks. 35 times and Joe Flacco another seven.

- Help me. Help me.

One of the biggest bets that I made last season in college football, was for Coastal Carolina. It was 280 on the money line. As 10 and 1/2 point underdogs to BYU. Why did I love this bet? The Chanticleers is ranked 35th in quarterback sacks. Prior to this match up, Wilson had only been sacked seven times on the season. But faced only one team, rank inside the top 94 pass rush.

In that game, Wilson Drew just one touchdown. The fewest in any game he played in 2020, had one interception. And aside from the season opener and a game against an FCS team, Wilson threw a season low 240 passing yards, 100 yards below his season average. The Jets, these quarterbacks are pressured at a much higher rate in all 16 games last year.

Wilson may look good in the early weeks. Within four teams in the first five weeks ranked bottom 10 in quarterback sacks. But in the final 10 games, Wilson and the Jets will play nine teams are ranked in the top half of pass rush, five against teams in the top 10. Which brings me to prop number two. Zach Wilson under 21 and 1/2 passing touchdowns -115 odds.

- Shot up take my money.

PAMELA MALDONADO: New quarterback, new coaching, same battle fence line. Taking the under on Wilson's passing yards and passing touchdowns. You can find these odds and more at the Yahoo Sportsbook.
