Betting: 2022 NFC West Best Bets
Frank Schwab gives his best bets for the four teams in the NFC West for the 2022 NFL Season.

FRANK SCHWAB: I'm Frank Schwab, and I'm here to give you my best bets for the NFC West this season. And we're going to start off with the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Los Angeles Rams.
I was a little surprised to see the Rams at plus odds to win the NFC West, and I'm going to take that. They're about plus 140 going into the season, and there's really no reason they can't win a division again. Most of their players are back. The key guys especially, Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp. We all know what the Rams did last year. Look, San Francisco 49ers are a good team, but they have a lot more questions than the Rams. So if you're still getting that plus number with the Rams, take them to win the division. We all know they can do it again.
Moving on to the 49ers-- could take a little bit of a specific bet here, that's offered at BetMGM and that's for the Rams and 49ers to finish first and second in the NFC West, in that order. And a little bit better than 3 to 1. Look, if I liked the Rams who win the division, and I do, I don't see anybody else being on the 49ers level in the division to finish in second place. I still think the 49ers a very good team last year, may be just fine with Trey Lance at quarterback. I think they're number two, with a bullet behind the Rams. I don't think the Cardinals are going to compete for the second spot. I don't think the Seattle Seahawks are. So-- so take the Rams to win the division, and the 49ers to finish second, a little bit better than 3 to, 1 odds I think you're going to cash out one.
Now we move on to the Arizona Cardinals. And I'm going to be fading them a bit this season. My best bet with the Cardinals is for them not to make the playoffs. If you have to lay a little bit of juice, it's about minus 120. I just don't like what I've seen out of Arizona this off season. Kyler Murray is not happy with the organization. DeAndre Hopkins is going to miss the first six games of the year. We all know how they've collapsed late in the season the last two years. I just don't like the Cardinals-- their vibe coming into the year. Don't really trust Kliff Kingsbury. I'm going to be taking the Cardinals not to make the playoffs, at BetMGM, for my best bet on them.
And finally, we finish up with a Seattle Seahawks. And this is a bit of a tough one because the Seahawks have been very consistent through the years. But I'm going to go under 5 and 1/2 wins for them, that's a very low total. But I just don't trust what this team is doing. They traded Russell Wilson and never really replaced him. They're probably going to the season, Drew Lock, Geno Smith the quarterback, does that give you any confidence? I know they do have some good players, still, but Russell Wilson really carried them for a long time. I think this is the year the bottom falls out on the Seahawks, on Pete Carroll. So with the uncertainty at the quarterback position, and really elsewhere along the roster, I'm taking under 5 and 1/2 wins on the Seahawks.
