iSeeCars.com analyzed over 12.6 million cars from their 2021 studies on Longest-Lasting Cars and Cars that Hold their Value as well as crash test ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) from 2018-2022 and data from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) when available. Only vehicles included in both the Longest-Last and Retained Value studies were eligible for inclusion in this study.
