The Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers sent a bit of a shockwave through the sports world. It was an uncharacteristic game for Kansas City on the offensive side of the ball, marred by an insurmountable number of turnovers.

There were some bright spots in the game, like Jody Fortson’s first NFL touchdown, but ultimately the loss left the team in last place in the AFC West division. It also left fans with very little to be hopeful for heading into a Week 4 non-conference road matchup in Philadelphia.

Here’s a quick look at some of the best reactions from the game posted on Twitter:

Turnover city

The Chiefs handed out turnovers to the Chargers on Sunday like they were going out of style. They had three turnovers on consecutive drives and frankly, the results should have been more devastating. Those watching the game could hardly comprehend the mistakes that they were seeing and by the end of the game, it still didn't quite make sense. https://twitter.com/aaronladd0/status/1442184641071489024 https://twitter.com/NFLonPrime/status/1442185487519649797 https://twitter.com/CoachGraff34/status/1442220425732243456 https://twitter.com/BenThereBro/status/1442240055314051077

It's been a while since the Chiefs had No. 88 catching touchdown passes in the back of the endzone. No, Tony Gonzalez didn't suit up for old time's sake. Chiefs' fourth-string tight end Jody Fortson saw some action with the starters today and he didn't disappoint. The converted wide receiver caught two passes for seven yards, including a two-yard touchdown reception. He also had a key block on a Patrick Mahomes scramble. Fans ate up his performance and are already calling for him to get more snaps too. https://twitter.com/cdotharrison/status/1442200120037097475 https://twitter.com/todpalmer/status/1442199966215286786 https://twitter.com/WichitaChiefSam/status/1442200728198467590 https://twitter.com/HerbieTeope/status/1442175021837742088

The Chiefs have dominated the AFC West since 2015, with a 31-6 record over division opponents. Unfortunately, the rough start to the season including the loss to the Chargers has Kansas City squarely at the bottom of the AFC West division leaderboards. It's surprising and unexpected, but thankfully it's still very early in the season with time to correct the team's woes and rebound against their most familiar opponents. https://twitter.com/OmarDRuiz/status/1442241275164434441 https://twitter.com/Kevo_Bevo/status/1442249011189125120 https://twitter.com/wingoz/status/1442236896785014785 https://twitter.com/billnienstedt/status/1442221590725468168
