Among the incredibly saturated influencer crowd, Poarch’s story and rise to fame is one of the more unique and inspiring. The young talent always dreamed of entertaining, but her parents disapproved of the idea. So after high school, she served in the Navy. Only a few years later, a lip-sync video to Millie B’s “M to the B” in 2020 would change her path in unimaginable ways. That TikTok would become the most-viewed of 2020, which helped Poarch’s following skyrocket into the millions. And it hasn’t declined since, with the star ranking in the top 5 of the highest earners on the platform while also enjoying a singing career.
