Best regular-season records of all time in NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL are missing the same thing

The Boston Bruins had the best regular season in NHL history with 65 victories and 135 points. That all went out the window against the Florida Panthers, who finished the regular season 43 points behind the Presidents’ Trophy winners.

Interestingly enough, the other prominent professional sports—NFL, NBA and MLB—have see the same situation occur as well…
