After the seventh full slate of regular season action, the NFL and fantasy football are in full swing.
If you had a tough injury in Week 7, you just didn’t get the production from one of your players that you expected or you have a player on bye, we’ll scan the waiver wire. For potential pickups, we’ll consider players who are available in at least 50% of ESPN fantasy leagues.
Let’s take a look at some of the potential waiver wire pickups that could help your teams heading into Week 8 of the NFL campaign.
Tyson Bagent, QB, Chicago Bears (1.7%)
He’s taking on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8, who have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this year. Allowing 9.82 to Jimmy Garoppolo in Week 4 was their lowest of the season, and everyone else has scored at least 21.
Darrell Henderson Jr, RB, Los Angeles Rams
Henderson, with familiarity with the offense, got the majority of the carries and the touchdown. There will probably continue to be somewhat of a share of touches, but Henderson should be the add this week.
Bourne has really been a focal point of New England’s offense the last two weeks, totaling 16 receptions for 152 yards and a touchdown on 18 targets.
With that production leading to a win this past week, he may continue to get more involved, as he’s one of just two Patriots pass-catchers who have consistently gotten open this year.
Tyler Conklin, TE, Jets (13.3%)
Conklin has averaged 7.1 fantasy points per game this season, which is solid considering he hasn’t found the end zone yet this season.
If Zach Wilson can get the tight end involved in the red zone, he could be a more viable option.
Seahawks, D/ST (38.6%)
Seattle’s defense has been strong again this year. They’ve scored 46.3 over their last three games, and with the Cleveland Browns on the schedule, they should have another big week.
