Best Bets on San Francisco 49ers for 2021 season
Yahoo Sports’ Senior NFL Writers Charles Robinson and Frank Schwab discuss the BetMGM lines they like for the 49ers. Including a defensive star returning from injury, and the Niners number to become the champions of Super Bowl LVI.

CHARLES ROBINSON: All right, welcome to this edition of Best Bets. I'm Charles Robinson, national NFL writer for Yahoo Sports. I'm here with Frank Schwab, our senior betting extraordinaire for Yahoo Sports. We're gonna talk about the San Francisco 49ers today, brought to you by "You Pod To Win The Game." We have our best bets from 49ers training camp. I had a chance to stop there, talk to Kyle Shanahan, and talk to John Lynch. Frank, I wanted to share with you what my best bet is, and I'm actually gonna double dip a little bit here.
I had a chance to isolate Nick Bosa while I was watching practice, and he looks pretty good. He looks really good. And I think when the regular season rolls around, he is going to be 100% full go. I think he's gonna be the Nick Bosa who was a Defensive Player of the Year candidate before.
That's my double dip here. I think Nick Bosa plus 1400 for Defensive Player of the Year and plus 800 for Comeback Player of the Year. I have Nick Bosa, who has a great possibility to wrangle in both of those awards this year with a fantastic season. That's gonna be my best bet this year for the San Francisco 49ers. I think it's very achievable.
FRANK SCHWAB: I love hearing that because I'm really high on the 49ers this year. This is a team I'm planting my flag on. I think this could be a really good football team. Everything's in place. I even don't mind the rookie quarterback. I think he's gonna add to this offense once he gets the job, and he will get the job, Trey Lance. So I'm all about the 49ers.
I'll have them over 10 and 1/2. I'll have them to win the NFC West. But my best bet with the 49ers, plus 1200 to win the Super Bowl. I think that this team has that upside. I think I entirely wipe away 2020 with all their injuries. They come back with a team that can run the ball, great offensive line, great defense, and I really, truly believe in Trey Lance having an RGII, Andrew Luck, Justin Herbert type rookie year. He's in a great situation.
CHARLES ROBINSON: Wow.
FRANK SCHWAB: So I think the Buccaneers take a little bit of a step back with the hangover. I think other teams in the NFC aren't quite to the 49ers' level. So at plus 1200, I'm willing to take a shot on the 49ers to win it all.
