NFL Bengals select Miami CB DJ Ivey in seventh round
The Cincinnati Bengals used their final pick in the 2023 NFL draft on Miami (Fla.) cornerback DJ Ivey.
Ivey, 6’1″ and 189 pounds, was one of the notables to visit the team during the draft process in April and he projects as a depth piece who can work his way up the chart.
Prior to this, the Bengals had used Day 3 picks to load up depth on the offensive side of the ball and even drafted competition for punter Drue Chrisman.
Ivey is the third defensive back the Bengals drafted this year, the other two coming over the first two days of the draft.
