Bengals QB Joe Burrow taken to hospital following loss to Packers for possible throat contusion

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is being taken to a local hospital to be evaluated for a possible throat contusion, according to the team. This news comes immediately after the Bengals fell to the Packers in overtime, 25-22.

Burrow was unable to attend his post-game press conference due to the injury. Rookie wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase said he did speak with Burrow following the game.

Burrow took a hard hit from Packers linebacker De'Vondre Campbell after being upended by safety Darnell Savage on a second-quarter scramble. He went to the medical tent for evaluation but returned on the next series.

The second-year quarterback completed 26 of 38 passes for 281 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
