Oregon offensive tackle Penei Sewell is the most common suggestion for the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2021 NFL draft.

And Sewell sure doesn’t seem to mind the idea.

During Monday’s upset of the Pittsburgh Steelers, fans at Paul Brown Stadium had their usual banner up — but this time with a twist. It focused on a player not on the current roster and read “Penei for ur thoughts.”

Sewell noticed and took to Instagram to comment on the banner, even throwing a “who dey” hashtag in there for good measure.

Does it mean a ton? No, but it is fun to see and think about:

Sewell, at least for now, is one of the best-projected offensive tackles to enter the draft in a long time. But he’ll have to get past the owners of the first two picks in the draft if the Bengals are going to have him suiting up in PBS in front of Joe Burrow.
