Ben Simmons’ single-digit scoring streak continues in Nets loss

The Brooklyn Nets suffered yet another loss on Thursday night against the Dallas Mavericks to fall to 1-4, forward Ben Simmons’ on-court struggles

In the Nets fifth regular season game the team has still yet to figure out their game flow. Even though the team is really early into the season, Ben Simmons has not seemed to feel comfortable with his game on the hardwood. Ben Simmons has logged less than 30 points in the season and has had a tendency of picking up fouls.

Simmons did log eight boards alongside four dimes against Dallas, most impressively he finished with three streals.

According to StatMuse, Ben Simmons single-digit scoring night is his eighth in a row. While fully healthy for the Philadelphia 76ers, Simmons’ longest streak in single digits was only two games.

Simmons’ offensive play has not improved in his minutes so far, several airballs and bad shots of his have gone viral on various sports media pages. His most recent airball came after a drive to the lane and he couldn’t chose between a floater and a layup.
