Ben Roethlisberger is super impressed by Dwayne Haskins' arm originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Dwayne Haskins' disappointing tenure in Washington wasn't filled with many compliments regarding his game, but one thing about Haskins that coaches and players always viewed positively was his arm.

And judging by one comment from a Steelers mainstay, the former first-round selection is now impressing those in Pittsburgh with how he throws the ball, too.

Check out this tweet from a Steelers beat writer, which features Ben Roethlisberger's evaluation of his fellow quarterback:

Naturally, some Washington fans got a hold of the post and sent in their, uh, skeptical replies:

Many members of the Burgundy and Gold — from coach Ron Rivera to offensive coordinator Scott Turner to the legendary Doug Williams to multiple guys on the roster, as well as leaders from the organization's previous regime — mentioned how unique Haskins' arm is during his brief stint with the team.

What held him back, however, were all the intangible aspects, from fully committing to learning the playbook to understanding how to act after losses. His off-field choices weren't always very sound, either.

So, hopefully Haskins has sharpened those parts of his skill set to go along with the one trait that gets lauded so often. If not, his career will end up like the thing Roethlisberger referenced in his praise of Haskins: a wash.
