Team USA water polo player Ben Hallock shares his journey from Stanford to an Italian professional team that led to him competing with the best in the world to prepare for Tokyo.

BEN HALLOCK: I'm Ben Hallock. My preparation for the 2020 Olympics has been a bit unique. I started out in full-time training with the national team. And then, when COVID happened, I ended up forgoing my senior year of university at Stanford and then ended up signing a contract to play water polo in Italy, because it was sort of the only place where I could for sure have competition, and not only competition, but the best in the world. So it's been an interesting experience, being able to come to Europe and play and finish my degree. But it's been an unbelievable experience, and I can't wait to continue preparation for the Olympics and then finally make it to Tokyo.
