Bemidji takes 2nd in Orange Division at Moorhead invite, DeWitt 2nd in all-around

Jan. 13—MOORHEAD — The Bemidji High School gymnastics team took second place in the Orange Division at the Moorhead Invite on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks matched up with Alexandria within the division, trailing the Cardinals by a slim margin of 136.35-132.75.

In the all-around competition, Aubrey DeWitt placed second with a score of 34.1. Taylor Hanks took fifth at 32.2.

On the vault, Chloe Workman had the best Bemidji finish with her second-place 8.6. Taylor Hanks took fifth with a score of 8.4.

On the bars, DeWitt took third with a total of 8.65. Kennedy Olson placed fifth with an 8.55.

DeWitt topped the beam field with a score of 8.3. Chesney Gladen placed third with her 8.25, and Aurora Frank took fourth with an 8.1.

DeWitt also had the best finish in the floor exercise with an 8.95. Workman placed fifth with a total of 8.6.
