Cookware can be expensive, and it’s rather annoying. Sure, if you cook a lot, you probably use it every day, so the cost per use is low. However, no matter how much you spend on your pots and pans, they rarely stay in tip-top shape for more than a year. You might as well pick a stylish set that complements your cooking style and your kitchen, and one that’s affordable. Case in point: Walmart’s Beautiful Kitchenware brand sells a gorgeous nonstick cookware set for less than $150, and reviewers say it rocks.
First of all, you may notice that this set looks pretty similar to another Instagram-famous brand, Caraway. However, it costs nearly a third of the price. Second, Beautiful Kitchenware by Drew Barrymore is, like the name suggests, actually beautiful. Everything comes in a range of pastel colors and features gold handles and knobs. And finally — it’s actually quality cookware.
About 80% of shoppers give it a five-star rating and say, “these are great high-quality pans!” and call them a “great investment for the everyday cooker.”
The Beautiful Kitchenware 12-Piece Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Set includes two frying pans, a sauté pan with a lid, a saucepan with a lid, a 5-quart Dutch oven and four cookware protectors so you can stack it all up in your cupboards without scratching it.
Maybe more importantly, however, is that according to the product description, the cookware’s ceramic nonstick coating is non-toxic and free of all those dangerous chemicals you may have heard of, like PFOAs. It’s also oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, dishwasher-safe (although handwashing is recommended) and compatible with all cooktops, including induction.
The cookware comes in sage green, black sesame and white icing, all of which are on sale for $129. However, it also comes in cornflower blue, which is on sale for $116.10 on Walmart’s website. (All colors regularly retail for $149.)
Whether you’re moving into your first home or just want to upgrade your existing kitchen, the Beautiful Kitchenware Cookware Set is a good bet. Plus, it looks — and cooks — like you spent much more than you did.
