Bears Week 8 injury report: Who practiced, who didn’t on Wednesday
The Chicago Bears (2-5) released their first injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 8 prime-time game against the Los Angeles Chargers (2-4).
It’s another crowded injury report with five prominent players not practicing on Wednesday, including quarterback Justin Fields, who remains week-to-week with a right thumb injury.
Other players sidelined Wednesday: Safety Jaquan Brisker (illness), right guard Nate Davis (ankle), right tackle Darnell Wright (shoulder/toe) and cornerback Terrell Smith (illness).
There is good news: Safety Eddie Jackson (foot) was back at practice, along with running back Roschon Johnson (concussion) and left tackle Braxton Jones (neck), who was designated to return from injured reserve.
