There may not be much to play for now that the Bears are 4-6 and have around a 1% chance of making the 2019 playoffs, but that doesn't mean Bears fans won't be interested to see how this roster develops over the final six games.
Most of the attention will focus on quarterback Mitch Trubisky, who could be fighting for an opportunity to begin the 2020 season as the presumed starter. He's done nothing to earn that designation so far this year, but the team's investment in him as the long-term answer at the position could force GM Ryan Pace into another season with No. 10 under center.
But Trubisky has to at least flash some upside, as he's done over the last two games. Has he been perfect? No. But he certainly has been better.
In Sunday's Week 12 matchup against the New York Giants, he'll face a vulnerable secondary that he should be able to take advantage of especially when targeting wide receiver Allen Robinson. If he struggles against the Giants, it's going to be a turbulent ride from Thanksgiving on.
