Let's just say Arlington Heights, home of new Bears tight end Cole Kmet, was pretty pumped about the news:
This video is insane.
So much love from the community for former #NotreDame and now Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet.
45 minutes straight with cars driving by to congratulate him.

That's quite a bit of residential traffic! And Cole had to stand out in the rain for 45 minutes? Arlington Heights, do you want the Bears' new hope at tight end to catch pneumonia before he even plays?
Imagine being his neighbor for this hour. Do you think they're just Packers fans now?
Regardless, this is still a pretty neat way for fans to show appreciation for a kid who grew up a Bears fan. Maybe less honking next time, though.
