As the Eagles prepare to move on from quarterback Carson Wentz, ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen are reporting that the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts are among the organizations showing the most interest.
The Eagles asking price for Wentz is two first-round picks according to some reports and it may cause some organizations to shy away from an offer.
Per the report, a potential Wentz trade has been in motion for over a week now, with Philadelphia engaging in trade conversations shortly after Matthew Stafford was sent from Detroit to Los Angeles.
Wentz’s departure would leave the Eagles with a $34 million dead cap charge, as well as one quarterback on the roster.
